Microsoft and Yahoo! embracing site maps

Google, Microsoft and Yahoo! all announced today that all three search providers have agreed to embrace Google's site maps technology.
Site maps are XML summaries on how frequent each pages on a Website are updated and when they where updated last. Making it easier for search engines to find pages to index and how frequent they should be rechecked for new content.
