Site changes

Words by Daniel Aleksandersen on 2006-12-22

I will be doing some rather heavy modifications to how this Website is run. Probably starting in early or mid January 2007 I will have re-designed the whole site, developed a new profile, and will have much new content, and a much more frequent publishing rate.

I have been doing a whole lot of experimentation into how to run a successful blog, and I will move The Web Design Journal towards becoming a blog based on those results. By that I mean I will be dropping the way to news service and serious tone, re-do the entire community feel and idea, change writing style, move to a target audience rather than just topic based entries… Well, pretty much I will be screwing the whole thing apart and put it back together again after a new configuration.

This is my second major blog project which is a result of my experimentation as of this autumn. I will be turning my attention back to The Web Design Journal right after the launches of Open Source Notebook.com on 1rd January 2007.

Stay tuned, and do still keep subscribing to the news feed! 2007 are going to be an interesting year!
