If you use a publishing tool like WordPress, you can reduce the amount of automated junk content simply by reversing the way WordPress handles the ids for the comment fields!

BBC reports that mobile internet use really are increasing.

The most recent bill from my mobile carrier; confirms this.

Sun Weblog Publisher is a plug-in that allows you to post to and edit your Roller, Google Blogger, WordPress (.com and self hosted,) and any generic MetaWeblog blog entries from OpenOffice.org Writer. The plug-in is priced at 5.88 GBP and is available as a online download.

This is just the stupidest thing many Websites that require registration do: They e-mail me my password, user name and other account information in plain text just to confirm my registration.

You know what? Do not do that! E-mail is really unsecure and I hate having to change my password after registering an account with an online store, just because you had to send me all information required to gain access to my credit card data which I just entrusted you!

Please take better care of it! E-mailing me my user name is one thing, but the whole account record? Is that really necessary?

The argument for using client-side traffic trackers have always been that they are less cost expensive then server-side once. But why should the bandwidth load be on the user and not the content provider?
