Do not e-mail me my password!

This is just the stupidest thing many Websites that require registration do: They e-mail me my password, user name and other account information in plain text just to confirm my registration.

You know what? Do not do that! E-mail is really unsecure and I hate having to change my password after registering an account with an online store, just because you had to send me all information required to gain access to my credit card data which I just entrusted you!

Please take better care of it! E-mailing me my user name is one thing, but the whole account record? Is that really necessary?
