Limericks are good as link bait

I have done a few tests on a couple of blogs I have. And I must say that limericks is great as link bait!
I where really surprised over how many that took the bait, reposted and linked to my little limericks! I must admit I am not the best poet in the word. But they where aimed at my target audiences, and they really where a success!
I did not get a lot of comments on my blogs (none on any of them actually,) but the fellow bloggers really took them to their hearts and reposted them.
I have not heard of this being used as a strategic tool before, so I thought I would share it.
PS: I think there will be a couple more limericks here and on my other blogs in the months to come.

I believe ya,its possible to achieve a pagerank 5 that quickly.I had my pagerank 4 within 2 months
not the 5 but you'll never know,to me to get a high pagerank is to keep your main indexpage dynimic.
