Source writing

Words by Daniel Aleksandersen on 2007-02-21

When quoting and discussing articles from other sources or blogs, you often end up with a blog entry with no real value. These guidelines should help you write better blog entries when referring to third party articles:

Introduction

Precent the sender (source), the original audience, and the case in question. Make it about three to five lines with at most one link (more if multiple sources).

Your view

Write your own view on the case, aimed at your own target audience. This should make up at least 2/3 of the entire entry.

Conclusion

Write a short conclusion of your and the original views. Aimed at the original, and your own target audience.
