A third of bloggers don't think they are responsible for their own posts

Croner conducted a survey suggesting that as much of a third of UK bloggers have posted potentially harmful posts about their employees, BBC News reports.
I think this shows more than anything that the average user have no idea about how much responsibility they actually got over their own internet activites.
Many think the internet is a safe house. That you can say anything, and you cannot be held accountable for it. It was just a post on the internet!
Bloggers must learn to take responsibility for what they post. A recent US court ruling declared that bloggers have the same rights as journalists. That also suggest they got the same reprehensibility!
I almost wish a couple of bloggers would get sued or fired or whatever. Just to show the world that a blog is more than just your personal journal. It is public, and should be respected as a public information channel.

I saw this report this morning, and it struck me how irresponsible that third of the population must be to openly disrespect their clients or employers.
When you look for a job nowadays, one of the first things the hiring company or recruitment consultancy does is 'Google' your name.
Be careful out there!
