Why Apple should buy Technorati

Words by Daniel Aleksandersen on 2007-07-16

The media and the blogosphere is all over it when anything Apple related happens. Apple knows their buzz. And no one knows the blogosphere like the blog search engine Technorati. Apple should therefor buy Technorati so they can analyze and perfect their buzz making machinery!

This is nothing but wild speculation. But think about it! Buying Technorati would give Apple full access to whats going on in the blogosphere. With all that data they would be able to fine tune Mr. Jobs' on stage preformances (yes, preformances!) to make an even bigger buzz.

I could also picture new Technorati front page whats-popular sections: Rumor speculations, Product buzz, ..

I think Apple has a very good picture of what's going on i the blog and rumors market.

Apple doesn't even participate in online conversations, so I'm not sure what they'd gain from searching among them…?
